What's the job about?

You'll be part of a team that thrives on collaboration and initiative. The role offers plenty of freedom to shape your own approach, with a clear focus on key account management. You're not just selling products, you're listening, advising, and co-creating smart technical solutions with your clients.

You will be responsible for:

  • Building strong relationships with customers and collaborating closely with product specialists, planning, and engineering teams;
  • Offering expert advice on technical solutions, pricing, availability and services;
  • Handling quotations from A to Z, from price calculation to follow-up;
  • Occasionally representing the company at trade shows and industry events;
  • Reporting directly to the Commercial Director of BeLux and work hand in hand with him to achieve the team's goals.

We're hiring a Sales Engineer for the Walloon market and Luxembourg. You will join the local sales and service team of a well-established German manufacturer, a global leader in precision measuring and control technology. With over a century of experience, this company is a trusted partner in sectors like High Tech, Food & Beverage, Chemicals, Pharma and Energy Transition. You'll work with industry leaders on cutting-edge projects and technically challenging solutions across the globe.

Team BeLux comes together in Mechelen, where you'll join a tight-knit team of 20 colleagues who are ready to welcome and support you. Depending on your schedule, you decide when you come to Mechelen.

Kandidaat

Who are we looking for?

  • Experience in B2B technical sales, ideally in measurement or automation
  • A solid technical base (engineering, electromechanics, or related field)
  • You're organised, detail-oriented, and a real team player.
  • Strong communication in French and English. Dutch or German are a plus
